Data handling
A technical summary of how brief content moves through the checker. Read it with the Privacy notice and Terms of use.
Processing
- DOCX, PDF and TXT files are parsed locally in your browser; only plain text leaves your device.
- Extracted brief text is sent to Google Gemini 3.8 Flash through the Lovable AI Gateway for analysis. The original uploaded file is not sent.
- The document is wrapped in explicit boundaries so instructions inside a brief are treated as content, never as commands.
Retention
- Your brief, findings and edits are kept in this browser tab's session storage. They are cleared when the browser session ends, or discarded when next read after 60 minutes without activity.
- Save review stores the original and revised brief, findings, internal context, campaign understanding and readiness data in your account until you delete that review.
- Content-free product analytics may record a random session identifier, file type, text-length range, review timing, finding categories and actions. Finding feedback stores classification and action signals, not quoted brief text.
Deletion
Delete a saved review from My reviews. Closing the browser session removes anonymous review state from session storage; expired state is also discarded when the service next reads it. Limited records may remain where required for security, dispute resolution or legal compliance, and residual copies may remain temporarily in protected backups.

AI training and provider retention
This service currently runs on Lovable Pro. Lovable's published policy states that Free and Pro workspace data may be used to develop or improve AI models unless the workspace owner opts out. This product does not expose whether that opt-out is active. Lovable states its agreements restrict downstream providers' training and retention, but we have not verified a Google-specific retention duration for gateway-routed requests. This is not represented as a zero-retention or no-training service.
Confidentiality boundaries
Submit the campaign information only if your organisation permits processing by AI. Do not submit credentials, private keys, unnecessary personal, regulated data or confidential information. Minimise the material to what the review needs, confirm any NDA or vendor-approval requirements, and use an approved internal workflow instead where your organisation requires a named legal counterparty, negotiated processing terms, regional hosting commitments or a defined zero-retention arrangement.
Operator and contact status
Pikolo operates Creator Brief Checker as the public product identity. A registered legal entity, service address and monitored privacy, security and procurement contact are not yet published. This is a current limitation for formal supplier assessment.
