Terms of use
These terms govern use of Pikolo and its gaming business tools. They were last updated on 22 September 2026. By using the service, you agree to them.
Eligibility and authority
You must be legally able to enter into these terms. If you use the service for a company or other organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to bind it. “We”, “us” and “our” mean Pikolo, operator of Creator Brief Checker. Pikolo's registered legal entity and contracting address are not yet published.
The service
Pikolo provides gaming business tools that analyse submitted or publicly available material and return automated findings, reports, suggestions and exports. Features may change, be limited or be discontinued. We do not promise uninterrupted availability or that the service will identify every issue.
Promotional contact and publicity
Creating an account does not grant Pikolo permission to send promotional messages, use your email for advertising audiences, or publicise your organisation. Those activities require the optional choice presented separately from these terms. You can withdraw that permission in Marketing preferences. A possible case-study conversation does not authorise publication; Pikolo must obtain separate written approval for the final use of names, logos, quotes, content or results.
Your content and confidential information
- You retain ownership of content you submit and remain responsible for its accuracy, legality and final use.
- You confirm that you have all rights, permissions and organisational approvals needed to submit the content for hosted and AI-assisted processing.
- You grant us and our service providers a limited, non-exclusive licence to process your content only to operate, secure and improve the requested service.
- Do not submit classified material, credentials, regulated health or payment data, or information whose disclosure could create disproportionate harm.
We treat brief content as non-public service data and use safeguards intended to restrict access. The service is not a substitute for your own confidentiality controls. You must decide whether a brief may be processed by external hosting and AI providers before submitting it.
Automated output and professional review
Output may be incomplete, inaccurate or unsuitable for a particular campaign. You must review it before use and independently verify dates, deliverables, rights, compensation, disclosures and other material terms. The service does not provide legal, financial, regulatory or other professional advice. Obtain qualified advice where appropriate.
Acceptable use
- Do not submit content unlawfully or infringe privacy, confidentiality, intellectual-property or other rights.
- Do not probe, disrupt, overload, bypass security, scrape, reverse engineer or misuse the service or its underlying prompts and models.
- Do not use output to deceive, discriminate, harm others or make unlawful automated decisions.
- Do not resell or provide automated access to the service without our written permission.
Accounts and suspension
You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping access credentials secure. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access. We may limit or suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect the service, users or third parties, investigate a breach, comply with law or address non-payment where paid features apply.
Our intellectual property
The service, software, design, taxonomy and related materials belong to us or our licensors. Except for the limited right to use the service under these terms, no rights are transferred to you. Feedback may be used without restriction or obligation, provided it does not include your confidential brief content.
Disclaimers and liability
To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without implied warranties of accuracy, fitness, merchantability or non-infringement. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive loss, lost profits, lost opportunities or decisions made from automated output. Our aggregate liability arising from the service will not exceed the amount you paid for it during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or 100 GBP if you paid nothing. Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Responsibility for claims
To the extent permitted by law, you will be responsible for losses and third-party claims resulting from content you submit, your breach of these terms or your unlawful use of the service. This does not apply to the extent a claim was caused by our breach or misconduct.
Changes, termination and general terms
You may stop using the service at any time. We may update these terms and will identify the current version by date; material changes apply prospectively after reasonable notice where required. If part of these terms is unenforceable, the remainder continues. Failure to enforce a term is not a waiver. Applicable law and courts are determined by mandatory law and any contracting details Pikolo subsequently publishes. No governing-law or court term is represented here beyond mandatory law.
